2017 Walking Tours Begin in Historic Downtown Hood River

The first HISTORIC DOWNTOWN WALKING TOUR of 2017 will be Monday, May 15th, at 11:00.

Downtown Hood River is not only known for its variety of shops and restaurants, but also for its rich and fascinating history. The 90-minute tour features tales of the misadventure at a prominent men’s bath house, the memorable day in 1942 at the Hood River Railroad Depot, the Butler Bank’s beginnings (and endings!) and so much more.

Tours start at The Hood River Hotel at the corner of Oak and 1st Streets and are scheduled every other Monday in June and July (avoiding the 4th of July weekend). Following the inaugural May 15th tour, the dates will be:

 June 5th and 19th and July 10th and 24th

Your $10 ticket gives you free entrance to the Museum itself on the day and at the time of your choosing.

Private tours for groups of six (6) or more can be scheduled for your party or event by reservation.
