School Tours at The History Museum are a great way to create excitement in your classroom and develop a passion for history in students. The museum education team will work directly with you to create a unique and fulfilling field trip for you and your students based on topic interest, age and class size. Tours are designed to be interactive, and include multiple hands-on experiences. Below are just a few of the types of tours offered, but we are happy to adapt programs to fit your needs. Tour tips and recommendations are available to download at the bottom of the page. The History Museum charges $1 per student for tours.

Museum Guided Tour (can be focused on a particular theme of Hood River County, including but not limited to Native American Culture, Early Settlers, Logging and Timber, Agriculture, the Hood River Japanese American Experience, and Recreation)
